Pure Graphics was founded by Lucy Perry in 1993 and was incorporated in 1996. Bruce Perry has been behind the scenes since day one but joined the company on a full time basis in 2000 to manage the production side of the business. Since then, it’s gone gang–busters!
Pure Graphics donates time and talent to some special causes including the Hamlin Fistula Hospital in Ethiopia and FairGo Voter Lobby.
We are a tight little team with big ideas...
Lucy Perry – Art Director
Lucy has almost twenty years’ experience as a professional creative. She has worked on a variety of clients including large corporates such as CSR and Hewlitt Packard, consumer products such as Mills and Boon and Gloria Jeans, building products manufacturers such as Boral and Readymix as well as sporting codes including Australian Rugby Union, National Rugby League and Tennis NSW. In her role as Art Director, Lucy oversees the company’s creative service offer handling copy writing, location and studio photography, styling and overall art direction. Lucy was short–listed as a finalist in the Young Business Woman of the Year Awards in both 2002 and 2003, but is no longer young enough to enter these awards!
Bruce Perry – Production Manager
Bruce handles production management at Pure Graphics from print production to campaign fulfilment. With a background in the building industry, Bruce brings to Pure Graphics a technical approach to project management and brings some balance to a business full of creative types. Bruce is a commercial studio and location photographer. He is a member of both the Australian Institute of Professional Photography (AIPP) and Australian Commercial and Media Photographers (ACMP). If only Pure Graphics had a client for which Bruce could indulge his passions for both mountain biking and photography at the same time.
Jane Lawrence – Copy writer
Jane has a number of years experience in marketing communications and advertising on both the client and agency sides of the fence. Jane assists with research and copywriting for many of our publications and has become our resident expert in timber flooring and Australian architecture. She’s also a gun at advertising sales and has a knack for turning a "maybe" into a full–page ad booking in the next four issues!
Amber Hooper – Graphic Designer
The newest member of the Pure Graphics team, Amber joins us as a graphic designer with over ten years’ experience in photography. Having sold her successful photographic business two years ago to embark on a graphic design career, Amber graduated recently with a killer portfolio that we couldn’t ignore! Amber has quickly adapted to the demands of a small agency with her calm disposition and fresh approach to design.
Adam Dipper – WEB Designer
We like to take full credit for seeing Adam’s potential as a design graduate with little industry experience but a very strong portfolio and a great attitude when we hired him in 2007. Adam now works offsite on a number of our website development projects, briefing our offshore programmers and perfecting the art of juggling code and design.
MARK CLEARY – STRATEGIST
Mark brings thirty years of strategic marketing and advertising management experience to the Pure Graphics team. He has worked on some of Australia's largest brands from FMGs and franchises to manufacturing and building products. Strategic planning meetings with Mark are never dull.
Creative round table
When required, Pure Graphics calls on a team of creative professionals to think tank ideas and develop creative strategies for our clients. On one hand Pure Graphics offers the stability of a management team that has remained unchanged for the last fifteen years and on the other, we provide fresh creative solutions, great ideas and new ways of thinking through our creative round table.
